Job Title: Courier Performance Manager

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay: Depends on Experience

 

You will work closely with vendors to ensure the best possible customer experience at a scalable cost. This position requires an analytical self-starter who can build and lead a team and has experience managing evolving vendor relationships. The role will rely heavily on building, analyzing, and actioning data to ensure quality, customer experience, and budget service agreements are met.

 

Responsibilities:

● Build and manage seamless relationships with delivery partners

● Develop and improve systems and tools to monitor performance and cost related metrics

● Analyze data to ensure operational success and root cause issues or misses

● Work with cross functional teams to ensure sustainable and scalable processes are

implemented with drivers and courier support reps

● Manage the QA process to ensure all quality goals are met

● Swiftly address any dips / misses in SLA to ensure customer experience is protected

 

Qualifications:

● 2+ years’ experience in Operations Management

● 2+ years’ experience in Performance and Project Management

● Experienced and comfortable with building tools, reports, and action items from large data sets

● Able to build rapport quickly, while developing and concisely managing vendor relationships

● Bachelor’s Degree Required in related field (mathematics, operations, etc.)

● Excellent communicator

● Experienced and comfortable operating in a fast-past environment

 

Preferred Experience:

● 2+ years in a management role

● Experience with managing third-party vendors

● Experience within the Transportation industry
