Credit Cash Manager


Adecco is assisting a local customer in Meriden, CT who is recruiting for an experienced Credit & Cash Manager.  If your skill match the description please apply online to;

Basic Function

  • Contribute to optimize the working capital & Cash Flow of RFS by efficient Account Receivable management, in conjunction with the Customer Service Team and Sales Teams.
  • Implement RFS Global Credit & Cash Policy
  • Take ownership of accounts receivable manager responsibilities including the posting and application of customer payments, collection calls and timely follow-up on overdue accounts

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and Manage Cash Collection Process from A to Z; Contact customers with past dues balance for collection purposes, and collect effectively while maintaining the customer relationship. Escalate as per Group LOA.
  • Monitor efficiency of EDI processes & Supply Chain Financing Programs jointly with IT, CST and Sales
  • Provide regular feed-backs to ‘Order to Cash’ Stakeholders on Status versus Targets
  • Provide reliable Cash Receipts Forecast (Short-Term and Medium Term) when required
  • Set up, review and Maintain Customer Credit Limits, as per LOA (Limits of Authorization) process.
  • Review orders / deliveries on credit hold and make timely hold/release decisions as per LOA process.
  • Provides Support to Sales & Customer Service Teams on Working Capital topics, including attendance to customer meetings.
  • Consult / support the Global Treasury Manager on improvements regarding cash & credit processes and procedures.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and analytical work as required.
  • Maintain customer and data confidentiality in all aspects of the role


Qualifications & Experience:

  • BA/BS with major or minor in Accounting/Finance/Business, or a BA/BS degree with coursework including Accounting is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years’ Financial experience in a formal business environment. Experience in a Commercial Credit environment is strongly preferred. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
  • Computer skills: MS Office including excellent Excel skills. Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Able to make timely and accurate risk based decisions. Familiarity with interpreting data from external credit risk reporting services
  • Able to work autonomously while escalating issues quickly when needed
