CS - Customer Service Rep - Senior

POSITION: Senior Customer Service Representative

LOCATION: Frederick, MD

DURATION: 9 months

PAY RATE: $17.00 p/hr

HOURS: Monday – Friday 9:30AM – 6:00PM

 

Specific Duties:

1.       Review, analyze, investigate and find resolutions in discrepancies between CMS and health plan data. Complete a minimum of 20 investigations daily (approx. 40-60 outbound calls).

2.       Maintain professional interactions, both internally and externally

3.       Adhere to Protected Health Information (PHI) policies and practices

4.       Accurately evaluate data from multiple sources and update internal systems and applications with the results of the investigation using up-to-date process documents

5.       Respond to monitoring, coaching, and various forms of feedback and quality analysis to meet or exceed performance metrics

6.       Work with a sense of urgency to complete highest priority records first. Reps should ensure they understand what the priorities are.

 

Must have qualifications/experience:

1.       High school diploma or GED. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

2.       2+ years of Call Center/Customer Service experience

3.       Experience working in a production environment

4.       3+ years intermediate proficiency with telephone and Windows PC applications as well as Microsoft Office products; includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications

5.       Ability to learn multiple work-types as well as learn and apply multiple levels of actions needed within each work-type

6.       Ability to learn quickly and motivated to meet daily production standards with excellent accuracy

7.       Demonstrate strong attention to detail

8.       Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills
