CS - Customer Service Rep - Senior

POSITION: Customer Service Representative

LOCATION: Ontario, CA

DURATION: 3 months

PAY RATE: $17.00 p/hr

HOURS: 8:00AM – 4:30PM

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

1. Receives and records customer concerns via phone. Acts to resolve concerns in accordance for corporate guidelines and standards for all areas of claims, authorizations and IPA functionality.

2 Respond to callers with the resolution of issues in a timely manner in accordance with the guidelines set by the department

3.Plan and organize workload to ensure efficient and timely resolution of issues.

4.Maintain minimum standards for the department for quality and quantity of calls received

 

 

Must have qualifications/experience:

1. Minimum of one to two years’ experience in Medicare and HMO environment

2.Minimum of one year of previous customer service experience

3 PC proficient in a windows environment to include Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel.

4.Ability to retain composure in stressful situations

5.Ability to de-escalate potential volatile situations
