Culligan Sales Manager Ocala

The primary responsibility is to grow market share within the assigned territory by acquiring new business, developing your sales team, working with current customers, and providing an exceptional customer experience.


  • Staff sales team to appropriate level for assigned area
  • Train sales team on areas designed to meet performance levels
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings with staff
  • Participate in field training with sales staff
  • Hold sales staff accountable for daily activity plan
  • Motivate sales team to meet performance levels
  • Implement all lead generation programs
  • Implement all referral and call back programs
  • Train and assist Sales Coordinator
  • Recommend advertising and special events to Branch Manager
  • Manage all special events
  • Conduct business to business office & field training
  • Conduct residential canvassing office & field training
  • Follow up on all non-closed appointments
  • Solicit large commercial accounts when necessary

ADMINISTRATIVE: Oversee completion of all new customer paperwork. Process new hires, employee discipline and terminations.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE: Train Area Manager on collection procedures, present payment policies to new customers

ASSET CONTROL: Responsible for inventory of all equipment. Ensure all test kits and materials are in working order.

REVENUE: Manage lead generation program. Implement advertising and lead tracking. Solicit new business. Ensure all Area Managers are equipped with sales materials. Monitor the referral program.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. (Related sales experience accepted in lieu of a degree.)
  • 5 years of experience in sales required with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales management.
  • Experience in water treatment and/or residential sales preferred.
