Adecco is searching for Assembly Operator II candidates to work in Southington, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity starting at $13.00/hr. This position will give you valuable experience to enhance your career while offering you the ability to grow within this company. Availability is on 1st shift. As an Assembly Operator II you will work in the Custom Lab department where you will assemble customized medical devices for specific patient use. Custom Lab Assemblers will use components in accordance to written specifications; perform visual or other inspections of components to ensure product quality. Participate in teams to continuously improve production processes and product quality. Work with small piece components, adhesives, and small hand tools. Train and rotate between functions as assigned.

- High attention to detail, ability to read and understand work instructions from a template
- Assemble components in accordance with company specifications and prints.
- Perform visual and/or other types of inspection on components, sub-assemblies, and end product materials to ensure quality control.
- Participate in teams to continuously improve production processes and product quality.

Responsibilities for a Custom Lab Assembler include:
- Ensure proper material is delivered to work station
- Follow step by step guidelines outlined by schematics
- Meet established production standards.
- Sort and remove defective parts or products; components must be within 1mm tolerance.


- Experience with manual assembly of small components (i.e. soldering, or gluing small components)
- Previous experience with RTV or UV cure adhesive a plus
- Flexible hours, and ability to work OT on a day to day basis (typical hours 7am � 3pm)
- 2 years previous experience in medical assembly/production or related field a plus
- Reliable, dedicated and punctual employee with a positive attitude
- Strong hand/eye coordination/Dexterity
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
- Able to work well with others in close proximity
- Neat and organized
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hand/eye coordination
