Position: Customer Account Managment

Location: Dublin, OH (43016)

Duration: 6 Months (Temporary to Permanent)

Compensation: $22.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

Description of work
Supplier Relations is responsible for providing enhanced relationship management for suppliers that translates into exceptional customer service, including maximizing the supply chain, negotiation of distribution and preferred product agreements, and below the line revenue.

Position Details:
• This role will support the OptiFreight Logistics Supplier Relations Team through the following responsibilities:
• Manage individual supplier portfolio and develop strong relationships with supplier contacts to grow the portfolio's package volume year over year
• Communicate to supplier partners through phone, email or web portal and notify them of OptiFreight Logistics customer requests to be completed
• Serve as the supplier's OptiFreight Logistics contact for questions about mutual customer's freight terms
• Respond to internal case requests from internal partners in a timely manner
• Review existing Supplier Relations processes and identify areas of improvement through Lean Six Sigma tools and resources

Position Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
• Experience managing relationships and matching business offerings with vendor or customer needs via phone
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise
• Results-oriented, strategic thinker, able to work in a team environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs

• Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve

• Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
