Customer Care Specialist

This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate! Pay rate is $14.50/HR. Hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 6:30 pm (Multiple shifts available during that range)

Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze claims using multi-layered benefit screens.
  • Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve
  • In charge of prior authorization of customers
  • Act as pharmacy help desk to aid pharmacies in submitting claims
  • Inform members how to use their benefit, so they can better assist themselves if desired.
  • Anticipate and address questions which may drive repeat calls.
  • Respond to and resolve all internal and external inquiries in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
  • Utilize all available resources to ensure that the correct and complete answer
  • Adapt to a fast paced, complex, and ever-changing environment.
  • Protect all personal health information and abide by all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

  • Consistent Work history (do not need to have call center or health care experience)
  • Tech Savvy- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and PC’s
  • People person
  • Punctual
  • Pharmaceutical Tech Experience preferred but not required
