Customer Payment Clerk

Adecco is currently hiring a Customer Payment Clerk in Sidney, NY for one of the region’s leading employers! The company, a multi-national manufacturer, is seeking a career oriented, go-getter who is ready to hit the ground running.

Job duties are to include:

  • Collecting mail and distributing as appropriate
  • Obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) documents from various shipping carrier websites to process
  • Interact with consumers via phone concerning balances due
  • Enter credit memo’s into central computer system
  • Scan customer payments (checks) using remote deposit software

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will possess a minimum education of a High School Diploma or HSE/GED
  • A background in Accounts Receivable is strongly preferred but not required
  • Strong data entry skills required
