Customer Service Associate

Adecco is assisting a Nutritional Supplements company recruiting for a Customer Service Associate role in Los Angeles, CA. This job as a Customer Service Associate is a permanent placement after completing a 3-5 day working interview and upon selection.

As a Customer Service Associate you will be in charge of processing, tracing, and assuring customer orders. You will also be in charge handling returns and answering general customer inquiries over the phone in a fast paced office environment. Accepting local candidates only. local candidates only. Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Accurately processes customers’ orders into the ERP system, ensuring that all proper discounts, special pricing and/or arrangements, terms of payments and shipping details are properly applied to orders.
  • Receives and documents customer returns.
  • Helps consumers find store/s near their area or direct them to an online retailer if no stores are available. 
  • Track customer orders and answers general customer questions about products and/or transfers more complex technical questions to on-staff nutritionist or to appropriate personnel.  
  • Informs customers of new products, special promos, or any other information that may increase customer orders (quantity and/or total amount of order) and perform any other duties that may be assigned by supervisor.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment (at least 3 years +)
  • Prior experience in the vitamin/supplement/nutrition industry preferred.
  • High School Diploma Required; Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication with follow through and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and detail oriented.
  • Excellent problem resolution and data entry skills.
  • Must be a team player with a strong and driven work ethic.

 

The starting pay rate for this role is $18 /hr, plus overtime if needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday with the potential needs for some Sundays and the hours would be determined upon selection.
