Customer Service Manager

Adecco is currently assisting a client in their search for a Customer Service Manager at their location in Portland, ME. This is a PERMANENT opportunity. As a Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations of all Customer Service Representatives, overseeing their activities and providing training of all employees for both distributor sales and commercial sales.  If you meet the qualifications listed below please Apply Now!



  • Develop, recommend and implement improvements of procedures and policies to improve overall customer service experience
  • Develop policies for department and solicit approval from Senior Management 
  • Take ownership of customers issues, respond to customer requests and questions regarding service, products and account information 
  • Ensure accurate updates of pricing catalogs and other product information documents
  • Advise employees when unusual work situations arise or when new products or procedures are instituted.
  • Supervise personnel administrative tasks, including coordinating and participating in the hiring and promotion process, supervising the training of new employees and the ongoing training of other employees, resolving unusual employee problems, evaluating, setting goals, and supervising employee time and attendance records.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a similar position
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Customer service sales skills
