Responsibilities for the Customer Service Rep include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients via phone, and email as necessary
  • Take orders from clients in a professional manner
  • Learn extensive company product line, how they work together and uses, to advise customers on correct quantities and parts necessary to complete their project
  • Ability to learn to read drawings, ability to do math calculations (like angles) to order the correct quantities for client project
  • Review online orders for accuracy
  • Expedite and follow-up on orders to completion
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner

 

 

Customer Service Rep candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 3+ -years exp as a Customer Service Rep position in an office setting, position that required some technical ability is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn to read drawings, do math calculations (angles) to advise customers on recommended projects and parts necessary for their needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take complex orders from all levels of clients
  • Must be highly organized with ability to prioritize
