Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an exciting Contract, Customer Service Representative role in Lewisville, TX!  Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

 

 

Duration: 6 months

Payrate:  $12.00 - $13.50 per hour

Mon-Fri 10:00am-6:30pm CST

 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides front-line, direct contact with customers via web portals, email, and phone.

Contacts are varied, some are non-routine.

Follows standard screens/ scripts to perform most tasks, navigating a computer-based system, and updating company records as needed

Confidently provides useful and creative resolutions to questions and problems.

Seeks advice from senior representatives when necessary.

Knowledgeable of company products & services.

May assess customer needs and suggest alternative products or services.

Perform research as needed to assist customers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Applies and develops basic skills to procedures for the position.

Assess customer needs

Deal with customers

Maintains professionalism and effectively interacts with all contacts, internal and external

Manipulates / Navigates computer system

Maintains department quality standards and performs job duties as directed by leadership

Experience using Microsoft Excel

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute

Active listening skills

Excellent customer service skills

Basic problem-solving skills

Acute attention to detail/accuracy and effective note taking and documenting skills

Must be able to handle and process high work volume.

Flexible with schedule as work volume will dictate work schedule, including breaks and lunches.

Must be able to handle multiple work processes simultaneously

 

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or GED equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE: 

1-2 years experience in a call center, customer service role, and/or office setting. Demonstrates professionalism when dealing with peers and customers.   Has experience with computer equipment. Adjusts actions in response to shifting priorities and rapid change.  Learns continuously, applying learning from past experiences and continuously seeking new information.  Demonstrates minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
