POSITION: Customer Service Rep.
LOCATION: Queensbury, NY
DURATION: 4.5 Months *Possibility of extension*
PAY: $12.5 / hr
Hours: 10:30 - 7 pm

This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to the patients. This position is responsible for assuring that the patients understand their financial responsibilities and for assisting self-pay patients in making payment arrangements for their balances according to company policies.
1. Confirms patient insurance eligibility and/or benefits.
2. Patient payment posting.
3. Generate patient statements.
4. Answer phone calls.
5. Provides customer service to patients inquiring about their patient statements.
6. Determines required deposits and arrangement payment agreements
7. Audit charts for correct income verification process.
8. Correct bad addresses
9. Discuss and educate family members on various services offered by the Center and methods of payment for
those services including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance and Private Pay.
10. Makes appropriate adjustments to patient accounts in accordance with company policies.
11. Work with eligible patients to apply for applicable assistance programs.
