Adecco staffing is assisting a local client in Colchester,  VT that is looking for a temporary Customer Service Representative. In this role you will be responsible for communicating with customers, clients and co-workers to place and review orders. You will maintain a thorough knowledge of products (new and existing), policies to efficiently serve customers.



  1. Communicate effectively with Manager, the sales Team, and production team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.

  2. Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills. 

  3. Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff.

  4. Provide consultation service to customers by answering, handling and resolving customer questions, requests, issues, complaints, etc.

  5. Respond to all customer requests in a timely manner.

  6. Sell product and place customer orders in computer system.

  7. Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.

  8. Attend to customer’s questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution.

  9. Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies.

  10. Review orders and invoices for accuracy.

  11. Provide pricing and delivery information.

  12. Research billing issues. 

  13. Process reports (back orders, product sales etc.)

  14. Recommend process improvements.

  15. Recognize, document and alert supervisor of trends in customer calls.


* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) also required.

* Ability to build and maintain strong customer and client relationships and networks.

* Must have the ability to learn new software and navigate the internet with ease.

* Minimum 2 years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
