Location: Collegeville, PA
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday- Friday
Pay Rate: $14 per hour
Duration: asap until the end of the year/ possibility of extension

Description:

Once an order is acknowledged, the CSR is the main point of contact (via phone and email) with the customer through delivery
Provides customer status updates when requested, and at intervals 5, 3, and 1 week prior to ship date
Participates in any conference calls with customer, whether technical or commercial in nature
Attends weekly shipping meeting as "voice of the customer"
Manages expedite list with production per customer needs (max 10 PWOs)
Attends daily 9am plant walk to gain insight into potential issues with customer orders
Proactively alerts customer when order is in danger of shipping late or below nominal quantity
Close outstanding balances on sales orders when shipped within quantity tolerance or called complete by customer
Enters Mantis for remake/shortage lots, when required
Manages all customer complaints and returns (except those accounts handled by the ISR)
Update Late Orders tab in Forecast Model (reasons why late)
KPI: On Time Delivery, report last week's performance vs. expectation, current week's expectation and next week's expectation (per Shipping Forecast Tool)
KPI: Late Orders - current status, projected to clear this week, projected to add this week, net entering next week (in terms of # orders and $ value)

Requirements:

High School Diploma and 5 years of sales experience
Knowledge of the metals industry preferred
Commercial negotiation skills to include experience/skills in reviewing and negotiating T&C's of contracts
Ability to develop strong and trusting relationships with customers, managers, peers and the internal field sales force; strong commitment to customer satisfaction is a must!
Excellent phone presence – friendly, articulate, concise and knowledgeable
Superb communication skills – verbal and written; must be able to communicate effectively through email
Nimble, flexible and adaptable
Fantastic follow up skills
Comfortable and agile working with technology; proficient in MS Office and other programs
Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace
Quick learner
Winning attitude – knows how to close the deal
