Customer Service Rep – Part Time


Adecco is currently assisting our Danbury client in their search for an experienced Customer Service Rep for a part-time, 8:30am – 2pm, temporary position.


Responsibilities for the part-time Customer Service Rep include but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Accurately enter sales orders and EDI’s into Sage 50 system
  • Correspond with customers and distributors regarding orders pricing, and product availability
  • Generate invoices ensuring the correct freight and handling charges are applied and sent to AP
  • Track all orders for delivery verification through UPS
  • Maintain product codes on Excel spreadsheet, as well as other spreadsheets
  • Assist matching invoices to payments with AR
  • Other diversified general office duties as needed


Customer Service Rep candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:


  • 3 + years exp as a doing customer service in an office setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software or similar
  • Must be highly organized with ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work in a small office in a team environment


Part-time hours will be 8:30am- 2pm.


Pay rate is $15 hr
