Contract Length: 3 months
Pay Rate: $14-16/hr DOE

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:

Maintains records on event activities, status and budget.
Attends event to assist with the facilitation of operations and responds to emergencies, problems, etc.; ensures assigned aspects of events are implemented and controlled according to plans.
Maintains event calendar/schedule, updating as necessary. Monitors activities of the suppliers to meet expectations.
Coordinates and monitors work processes. Participates on project teams. Builds effective relationships with suppliers.
Create & edit promotional and informational materials such as brochures, flyers, etc. Assists users of facilities by providing requirements regarding technical, security, and/or other requirements; assists in problem resolution and answers questions; refers to appropriate department when unable to respond.
Assists in developing and scheduling event staff in accordance with specifications. Coordinates activities of assigned areas with activities of other staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate procedures and specifications.
Administration work (attendee lists, name tags, breakout assignments, conference material creation and organization, etc.). Microsoft excel and word documents. Attention to detail.
Customer service and communication. Work with people at various levels of leadership in a calm and clear manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of related job experience.
• Experience in event planning and logistics.

Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication at multiple levels.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organization skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively.

Core Hours:
Flexibility of work hours depending on needs of the candidate and business, to be set prior to first work day. We will work with the right candidate on a mutually agreeable regular schedule during Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schedule to include 20 - 24 hours/week.
