Pay rate is $14.50 as a temp.

General Job Description:

Work as a team player in the customer service department to provide high quality and professional service to our customers.  Main duties include confirming & processing orders. Working with customers, salesmen and factories regarding orders.  Perform daily customer service duties mentioned below (not inclusive).  Have a good working relationship with our customers, factories, and company staff.

Education and Experience

  • Associates Degree or 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Working knowledge of word and excel programs
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Key Competencies

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Examples of Duties Required (not inclusive & subject to change):

    Order Entry:

  • Receive, Check, & Confirm Orders
  • Order Entry Process
  • Print and Deliver Orders to the Warehouse
  • Manage backorders and orders with future ship dates
  • File & Track Orders

  • File customer orders & related paperwork in appropriate places
  • Clean out binders and files on a routine basis
  • Factory Order Entry

  • Enter and print orders to the factories
  • Prepare factory orders for checking (stamps, comments, drawings)
  • Log and fax orders to the factories
  • Provide Customer Service to North Branch Customers

  • Work with customers on issues such as:
  • Develop good working relationships with customers
  • Support Salesmen with their accounts as they travel
  • Communicate with Our Factories

  • Obtain delivery information
  • Resolve other problems / issues
  • Other

  • Answer phones as needed
  • Misc. requests from manager or other departments as needed.
