Adecco is searching for a reliable candidate to work as a Customer Service Representative with our client located in Meriden, CT. This position is on 1st shift 8:00a-4:30p. Pay ranges from $18-$20/hr dependent on experience. This is a temp position but may upgrade to long term for the right candidate.  If you meet the requirements below, APPLY NOW!

 

The Customer Service Representative will contribute to achieving regional, key account or enterprise sales thorough Sales Support.

  • Account Management
    • Customer service support
    • Maintain customer profiles
    • Order Confirmation Management
    • Generate Quotations
    • Assist Sales Managers with bids and proposals
    • Customer Complaint Processing
    • Manage Orders To Completion
      • Regular review of account open backlog and delivery status
    • Customer correspondence
      • Outbound calling to new and existing customers
      • Field inbound sales calls
  • Systems Knowledge
    • Develop strong ERP skills through daily use and continuous training
    • Support CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System
    • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Product Understanding
    • Regular attendance to internal & external training sessions
    • Pursue product knowledge
    • Assist customers with product decisions

  • Ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional resources and teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Applications Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.).

  • 3 – 5 years in a fast paced, customer focused role.
  • Strong computer skills.  SAP and Salesforce.com experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email and personal interactions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • AS or Business School education preferred.
