Customer Service Representative

Adecco is currently assisting a local company recruit for a customer service representative.  This is a long term contract position. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

 

General Duties:
• Provide logistical support. Responds to requests via incoming telephone calls and emails daily.
• Liaise between internal stakeholders to ensure RMA delivery
• Monitor RMA backlog status, provide leadership with detailed information surrounding RMA issues
• Manage quote status updates and requote requests
• Mange special decision-making requests from customer - special cases for RMAs
• Communication with tech support when needed
• Point of contact for escalations related to RMAs and export logistics
• Receiving of all RMAs from loading dock and into the SAP system
• OEM process - receiving into SAP system and manage outsourcing to OEM vendors. Request PO from planning department
• Completion of RMAs after repairs and transporting to shipping area
• Assist and/or perform shipment of repairs upon request or need
• Replenish inventory of repair spare parts (Kanban system)
• Inventory repair spare parts, report findings to leadership
• Must be willing to work with returned products, which may contain industrial waste (oil, sludge, water)
• Maintain accurate records to determine charges for service calls as applicable
• Maintains compliance with company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping Practice
• Must be able to bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time through the course of the work day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time when RMAs received and/ or shipped.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Associates Degree in Applied Science in Electrical Technology from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
• Minimum 1 year experience in logistics and/or data entry
• Basic knowledge and ability to operate a computer and MS office

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Direct RVI product knowledge
• Product service experience
• Works and communicates well in production team environments
