POSITION: Customer Service Representative
LOCATION: Waukegan, IL
DURATION: 12 months
PAY RATE: $17.00 p/hr
HOURS: 8:30AM – 5:00PM

of customer orders prior to placing the order into Macola system. The CSR is expected to use independent analysis and judgment skills to answer customer inquiries or resolve problems related to the customer's account or order status via phone, email, or fax. This position requires collaborative efforts with the engineering, production, and shipping departments. With comprehensive experience the customer service representative can move into jobs that involve more skill and greater responsibility.

Knowledge of MS Office Software
Macola experience preferred
Must be able to work overtime when warranted

Specific Responsibilities

Enter customer purchase orders into the Macola system and process EDI and international orders
Enter software licenses for customers
Verify the accuracy and completeness of each order received and entered.
Provide commercial invoices and shipper letter of instructions to Shipping Department
Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
Maintain close relationship with Engineering, Production and Shipping to coordinate the timely shipments of product.
Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.
Use knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, various marketing promotional services, and similar data, as required.
Work closely with accounting personnel on new and existing customer credit issues.
Other duties as assigned


Three years minimum experience with ERP systems
Proven customer service experience


High school diploma required

Physical Requirements
