Patient Accounts - Customer Service Representative - Temp to Hire Opportunity! 

Westbrook, ME 

CALL CENTER Hours of Operation: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm (all schedules will be somewhere within these hours)

Pay Rate: $13.50 /hr + depending on experience

Answer incoming calls from patients, parents, insurance companies, attorney offices, and any other professional offices regarding medical bills, billing questions, process estimates, refund requests, provider participation status, and others.

Run payments via online module and post into EPIC

Respond to work mail, voicemails, and emails; Research accounts and respond to the senders

Make outgoing calls when appropriate, including pre-collection and delinquent payment plan courtesy calls. Reviewing, researching accounts that have populated in various queues

Ideal Candidates will have: 

Must have RECENT + RELEVANT experience in a position dealing with health insurance, claims and/or patient accounts. 

Exceptional customer service skills to all internal and external customers;

Use all resources available to arrive at the answer for a single call resolution whenever possible;

Follow protocols and procedures for handling issues out of your scope/requiring additional review;

Follow team and company policies 

Participate in Training, Meetings, and other Events developed for the purpose of process improvement, team building, and employee engagement
