Customer Service Specialist

The Customer Service Specialist will represent the brand by providing outstanding customer service and brand advocacy to customers and consultants via existing channels and project work. Channels include online CRM via email, telephone, and online chat, in addition to other cloud base platforms.  While creating knowledge, excitement, and increased use of the brand’s products.   

Responsibilities for this Customer Service Specialist position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for answering voice calls, emails and online chats, within the expected 4-hour response time window.
  • Educate customers and Consultants to self-serve via online tools and expected to quickly and efficiently provide service in those instances when the automated systems are not available
  • Respond to all customers and consultants with empathy and patience
  • Responsible to learn all processes and platforms utilized to communicate with customers, Consultants, warehouse and inter-office staff
  • Acquisition of knowledge and confidence in the use of the brands products.
  • Clearly communicate timelines to customers and consultants to set clear, achievable expectations.
  • CSS will be responsible for performing virtual (via online recording platform) and in person demos. These demonstrations provide product and use details of products via interactive video with the goal of creating knowledge, excitement, sales and increased use of the brand’s product and customer satisfaction.
  • CSS will be responsible for documenting clearly the processes, testing of methods, results, and more in demonstrations.
  • Responsible for assisting customers through problem solving solutions for repair and service requests via email, chat and phone
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple online platforms simultaneously

    To be considered for this Customer Service Specialist position, you should:

  • Perform outbound sales activities, including:
  • Outbound calling and emailing
  • Selling the value of the product and opportunity
  • Managing profile updates, follow up, and CRM updates
  • Closing/asking for the sale
  • Understanding the competition
  • Asking for referrals and inviting others to the demos
  • Meet monthly sales goals with collective team effort
  • Partner with teams, such as:
  • the warehouse and technology teams/partners to diagnose systems issues, troubleshoot tech releases, and assist in the prioritization of fix needs.
  • the sales team to fully understand the field sales process, in home demos, cooking classes, and sales training methods to fully support the efforts of the sales team.
  • the marketing team to support outbound marketing campaigns, via all possible channels.
  • Use shipping and fulfillment software vendor website to track, audit, ship, and manage fulfillment.  Use tools to ship, recall, pay for, and manage shipments.
  • Contact customers as needed to encourage usage, increase satisfaction, and ask for referrals.
  • Provide writing sample
  • Able to show empathy and manage customer emotions.
  • Foreign language, (Spanish or Chinese) speaking and writing skills, would be a plus.
  • Has an interest in food and cooking
