Adecco is assisting a partnering client  seeking a Supply Chain Analyst role in Shelton, CT
 
POSITION:             Supply Chain /Customer Service Analyst
LOCATION:            Shelton, CT
DURATION:            6 months (contract)
WORK HOURS:     Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5 pm
 
SUMMARY:

Customer Support Analyst is responsible for the validation and execution of incoming customer orders. The successful candidate will work closely with Logistics Operations Team in optimizing case fill for customer orders and Customer Transportation Team in ensuring on time delivery of shipments and Sales team to schedule delivery timing for written orders and Planning team to address product availability. The Customer Service Analyst participates in Customer Care Team as a core member in identifying promotional management, efficiency gains, and problem resolution. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Link closely with Operations Manager, Customer Planning Forecast and Replenishment Analyst and Event Supply Planner in identifying gaps for seamless order execution and Customer Supply Chain Analyst for Terms of Sale compliance. 
  • Perform ongoing review with Sales on upcoming promotions, critical stock issues, cut information on sales orders
  • Run SAP reports to identify incomplete sales orders, required data maintenance, sales volume, on-time adherence
  • Communicate with Supply Chain Planning, production facilities, and warehouses on orders outside normal policy to enable timely service to the customer 
  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship to collaborate on order management
  • Work with LOT/CTT/WHS/CD/Planning to identify possible improvements and drive towards flawless execution for order to cash cycle. 
 
REQUIRED:
  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business-related field
  • 0-2 years of Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Technical understanding of SAP, AMPS, Merlin or other Supply Chain information systems 
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and Outlook required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
