Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting candidates for Direct Hire Customer Service/Sales Associates in the Detroit, MI area for an established Nationwide Provider of Life Insurance Products. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Direct Hire Customer Service/Sales Associate for a well-established company in an outstanding environment in the Detroit, MI area. The Direct Hire Customer Service/Sales Associate Role in the Detroit, MI area includes a full comprehensive benefits package that is second to none. All work at home materials will be provided, you must have a dedicated phone line and high speed internet (not provided). Although we are seeking candidates who are Sales focused this position does not involve generating leads and cold calling.

Essential Functions for the Direct Hire Customer Service/Sales Representative in Detroit, MI:

Summary: Provide exceptional service to all existing customers and engage in consultative increased business dialogue using the proven sales process. Assist customers with all other transactions and concerns via inbound calls.


Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and properly document and follow-through on all conversations. Calls may be related to payment processing, billing, or policy changes.
Review and make recommendations to customers on additional products that may be of benefit or value to the customer.
Handle all customer inquiries consistent with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience and Requirements for the Direct Hire Customer Service/Sales Associate in Detroit, MI:

1-2 years of Customer Service experience
Previous Call Center experience a bonus!
Knowledge of Life or other Insurance background a plus!
Strong PC, data entry, and word processing skills mandatory
Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
Strong English written communication skills including grammar and spelling
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Sales focused with the ability to suggest and communicate additional products
Motivated and driven with the ability to set goals and be accountable
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, Saturdays, and Company Holidays.
Seeking BOTH unlicensed and Licensed candidates in Health/Life Insurance
Must be available to attend a 7 week paid training program in the Detroit area beginning February 8, 2018. You must have reliable transportation and be able to attend every day between the hours of 8-5 pm.
