Customer Support Representative

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an Experienced Customer Support Representative with a military/aerospace background in the Santa Clarita Valley. Responsibilities for this Customer Support Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Process and maintain customer purchase orders, external customer purchase order systems and electronic data interchange (EDI).
  • Maintain off-line sales systems as required
  • Responds to customer pricing requests per established price guidelines.
  • Interacts with other departments as required for order status, delivery updates, warranty & quality updates
  • File and maintain proper documentation
  • Interfaces with customers on a daily basis
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Prepares and submits customer quotations per established price guidelines
  • Responds to internal and external customer inquiries
  • Compiles and generates various customer/sales reports
  • Contract review of customer purchase orders
  • Capable of working unassisted with OEM and aftermarket customer requirements.
  • Respond to other administrative requests from Account Managers
  • Input forecast information and/or participate in planning meetings
  • Picks up and distributes department mail
  • Cross train with other CS Representatives
  • May be asked to provide limited coverage for account management functions
  • May provide product or technical application information
  • May assist in preparing customer account review packages/information
  • Limited face-to-face customer contact
  • Actively participate with AR management (collection process, validate PO to sales order, collections, etc.)


To be considered for this Customer Support Representative, you should:

  • Expert knowledge of computer systems/software applications
  • High level of professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must work effectively in a team environment
  • Able to multi-task, detail oriented and able to prioritize work load efficiently is a must
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills regarding routine, day-to day functions
  • Have military/aerospace experience a must
  • SAP experience highly preferred
  • Strong follow-up skills a must
  • Solid understanding of the sales process
