Senior Customer Service Representative CSR  Biotech company in Sorrento Valley Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Must haves:

-Bachelor of Science degree
-A fair amount of experience within Biotech as they will be dealing with FDA regulations

-Customer Service here deals with shipping a lot too so experience with order processing, tracking, purchase orders.

This applicant Provides excellent Customer Service calls, answers basic customer inquiries such as products sold, pricing and availability. Directs the customer to the employee most appropriate to answer their inquiry, such as technical support for product performance questions. Accurately processes and correctly verifies orders. Accepts and processes orders received via mail, email, phone, or fax in a timely manner Closely tracks status of customer documentation, such as return of CLIA certifications, RUO forms, etc. Closely monitors the status of outbound shipments. Maintains accurate knowledge of shipping carrier procedures and policies. Correctly prepares shipping documentation for international shipments, which do not use FedEx as the shipping carrier and ensures that these shipments are shipped in accordance with controlled procedures and product requirements. [International shipments must meet all of the export requirements and procedures, including electronic submission of EEI via AES shipment with commercial invoice/s.] Creates, reviews, and verifies Customer Service documents are correct (purchasing specification, standard operating procedures, etc.). Sends customers client literature. Assists in training newly-hired CSRs. 

Maintains inventory in the general stock room and completes requisition worksheets in ERP. Fulfills transfer orders from various departments. Cooperates and respectfully communicates with external and internal customers. Other related tasks, as assigned. Demonstrated attention to detail.

Must maintain good attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist in the training of new employees. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Demonstrated ability to learn and take on new challenges. Knowledge and skills normally acquired through the successful completion of a Degree in Business Administration or related and/or relevant experience is required. Completion of a BA/BS degree is preferred.

 

Experience in a regulated industry or equivalent combination of education and experience is beneficial.
