Customs Brokerage Sales Executive

Exciting opportunity for a Custom Brokerage Sales Executive in the Chicagoland area! Adecco's Executive Recruitment team is assisting a leading international freight forwarding company in their search to fill a Customs Brokerage Sales Executive role in the Schaumburg/Elk Grove Village area. Our client is one of the largest international freight forwardering organizations in North America that specializes in international trade and compliance. This is a direct hire, permanent placement opportunity.


JOB SUMMARY
The Customs Brokerage Sales Executive is responsible for driving growth by developing relationships with new and existing clients, and collaborating with the sales organization as a subject matter expert for the freight organization to create and implement new strategies.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates business development plans and expectations for each geographic region that aligns with the company’s strategic plans, vision and values which includes establish sales goals.
Serves as the relationship manager to develop new client relationships and capitalize on existing client relationships to uncover new opportunities for the freight organization.
Coordinates and prepares responses for RFPs.
Prepares, plans, and delivers client presentations with internal organizations, including sales.
Builds value added services for clients on freight and logistic operations in collaboration with sales and operations.
Works closely with operational functions and client onboarding teams to ensure new clients’ needs are addressed.
Participates in weekly sales meetings with the team to offer advice from operational perspective to help drive additional sales opportunities for freight and logistics.
