Pay: $35.50 Hourly
Duration:3 months with possibility for extention

Job Description - The role covers the preduction and development of CRO Operational Risk and Control presentation packs, reporting and analysis.
• BCBS239 compliance and associated internal and external communications;
• RDAR (Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting) Controls;
• CRO Operational controls;

Overview of business area or project:
The Risk division is a highly visible, dynamic area of the firm where you can be an integral part of decisions making that supports the bank’s business. The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) COO department is responsible for facilitating the strategic direction and ongoing development of the CRO function and watching the function's overall structure and communication. Included within this remit are operational risk and control. Also included is compliance with prevailing regulations. Of these BCBS 239 is a significant regulatory commitment owned by CRO.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare reports and information packs for internal and external audiences
• Extensive collaboration to fully understand data content and context
• Maintain the highest levels of data quality
• Manipulate, analyze and understand data from a variety of sources
• Conceptualize and design presentation packs and data dashboards and to illustrate conclusions for successful presentation
• Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes

Overview of department/team:
CRO Central COO – Reporting & Data Analytics is an enabling function that partners within CRO Central team and across the wider CRO Organisation. We create efficiency through the design and delivery of scheduled, standardized reporting and maintenance of the supporting infrastructure. We undertake ad hoc data investigations in a variety of Risk Data sets including BCBS239 & associated process controls, Regulatory Commitment and incidents.
Reporting & Data Analytics are a business function who also provide technical & MI support. We aim to educate and empower the broader CRO ORC community with shared data for their own bespoke analysis.


Challenges contractor will be facing in role:
Data extraction from 3rd party systems, transformation and curation

Essential skills and qualifications:

• Demonstrate proficiency working with large datasets using Microsoft tools (Access, Excel) and SQL for data preparation and reporting
• Demonstrate proficiency in the production of reproducible MI and overcoming automation issues
• Experience in MS PowerPoint
• Experience understanding and fulfilling detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques

Desired skills and qualifications:
• Relational Database design, implementation and development
• Experience creating Qlikview dashboard desirable but not essential
