ADECCO is currently assisting a premier client in their immediate search for a

Master Data Analyst - SCM
W2 Contract 6-12 months
Miramar FL 33027


The Master Data Analyst is responsible for providing advanced level support implementing and managing master data governance processes and operations.

Successfully implementing and maintaining Item and Supplier data for our client’s vast product line portfolio via management of master data and content management tools.

This position is the tactical focal point for data maintenance and requires collaboration with stakeholders to support and ensure operational efficiency of the organization.

Core responsibilities

Strategy (15%):

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures
• Plan work tasks and resources efficiently, cost effectively, and timely

Execution (85%):

• Ongoing entry/maintenance/validation of data for new and existing products
• Working within the business to ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data elements including the ability to timely troubleshoot any data issues
• Perform and report on periodic data integrity audits
• Enforcing and coordinating the execution of workflow procedures to bring about timely and accurate population of master data elements
• Respond to requests from stakeholders for changes to, or creation of master data records, and managing the requests through a formal process of validation and approval
• Follow standards/templates for entering and managing new materials
• Work with multiple software applications such as JDA, SAP, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook to support daily Master Data functions

Results / Metrics Position Will Be Measured Against:

• Eliminates data inconsistency and improves accuracy
• Increases reporting accuracy
• Adherence to data standards
• Timely and accurate updates of master data elements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Master Data, Operation or Supply Planning experience
• Strong analytical skills with very strong MS Excel knowledge (pivot tables, macros, lookups)
• Software applications knowledge such as JDA, SAP, SharePoint, and MS Office preferred
• Strong communication, presentation and organization skills
• Detailed oriented
• Team oriented
• Self-motivated and energetic
