POSITION: Data Entry I

LOCATION: La Crosse, WI

DURATION: 5 months contract, (Option to be extended – most likely 9 months, but could go to 12 months – will be based on volume of work) No option to convert to permanent role

HOURS: Full-time, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $13.00

 

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:

The Data Entry I position supports the Trane Tax Exception Operation team by issuing tax credits, emailing request to clients, and uploads certifications into SharePoint.              
 

Read source documents such as tax credits and enter data in specific data fields or Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors. Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Maintain logs of activities and completed work. Scan documents and upload them to SharePoint. Perform other duties as assigned.      

 

  • Issuing tax credits
  • Emailing request clients

Must Have:

 

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years data entry experience required.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
