Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an exciting Data Specialist II news and industry content alerts role in Dallas, TX!!

**Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / no corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only.

Job Title: Data Specialist II news and industry content alerts
Location: Dallas TX - No relocation assistance, travel expenses, or any other expenses can be offered
Estimated Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1 year contract assignment
Pay Rate: Up to $20.00 per hour / Adecco W2 (depending on experience)

Job Description


Will participate in the Information Center team in the research, analysis and compilation of news and industry content alerts, and other business focused research topics and services for individuals and/or business lines.
Work with research team to execute multiple alerts for clients, utilizing news databases, i.e. Factiva and Lexis Nexis, and other industry resources
Respond to ad hoc research requests from client/business and participate on projects to analyze, organize data and utilize technologies/tools
Format search results using Word, Outlook or Factiva Newsletter
Manage fast paced deadlines for client deliverables

REQUIREMENTS

Completion of a Master’s Degree program in Library/Information Science from an ALA accredited school.
Work experience in corporate environment
Experience with construction of news alerts
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to produce high quality and quantity of work to meet short deadlines
Attentive to detail
Strong communication skills both written and verbal for client interaction
Proficiency in MS Office software, including Excel, Outlook, OneNote and SharePoint
Knowledge of copyright
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility when priorities change
