Adecco Staffing is assisting a large grocery company find a qualified Department Assistant for their Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio location.

The Department Assistant will provide support for the Grocery Adult Beverage Team by generating reports, maintaining data and written communication and other support as needed.

Essential Functions:
• Maintain written correspondence to divisions on promo plan, including updates as necessary
• Create and maintain reports (daily, monthly and quarterly)
• Communicate promotional plan with Divisions, Regional Teams, Category Managers
• Provide support to Department Promo Planning Team
• Provide back-up support to the department (as needed)
• Administrative work is also required

Education/Skillset Requirements:
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment and a willingness to help all members of the team
• Flexibility to handle an ever-changing scope of assignments and projects
• Ability to recognize and set priorities
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Able to handle routine tasks and resolve issues with a high level of independence and initiative
• Able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Ability to communicate effectively


Desired Education/Experience:
• Corporate office administrative assistant experience
