The Department Assistant job require the candidate to provide support to the Grocery Promo planning team by generating reports, maintaining data and written communication. If you meet the qualifications listed below, APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities for the Department Assistant job include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain written correspondence to divisions on promo plan, including updates as necessary.
  • Create and maintain reports (daily, monthly and quarterly).
  • Communicate promotional plan with Divisions, regional teams and Category Managers.
  • Provide back-up support to the department (as needed).
  • Provide support to Department Promo Planning Team.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Department Assistant job:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
  • The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.
  • The flexibility to handle an ever-changing scope of assignments and projects.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • The ability to recognize and set priorities.
  • Able to handle routine tasks and resolve issues with a high level of independence and initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
