DEPARTMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST II

POSITION: Department Support Specialist I
LOCATION: Warminster, PA
HOURS: Full-time
DURATION: Approx. 6 - months; with potential to extend
PAY: $22.00/hr.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details
Process all service requests for New Business jobs.
Initiate and track these requests in CIMS and Passport.
Process solar applications, payments and communications with Capacity Planning, including the update of Capacity Planning website per New Business Process as required
Provide support for Design and Construction Consultants, as needed
Maintain files for each project.
Process, Duplicate and Distribute Work Order Packages for Field Construction Work, as needed.

Required Skills

  • List, in order of performance, the 3-7 major accountabilities of this position. These accountabilities are generally constant and rarely change.
  • Associates Degree in engineering or business-related field with a minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer contact role. or
    • High School diploma with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a customer contact role.
    • Demonstrated excellent telephone and written communication skills.
    • Literacy in CIMS.
    • Experience interpreting and understanding distribution maps and electric/gas terminology.
    • PC skills including but not limited to WORD, EXCEL and ACCESS.
    • Knowledge of electric and gas rates, rules and tariff.
    • Excellent attendance record.
    • Valid driver's license.
  • Four-year college degree or High School diploma with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a customer contact role.
  • Minimum of one (1) year work scheduling and/or dispatching experience.
  • Negotiating skills
  • Knowledge of PassPort system.

Preferred Skills
CIMS is preferred but not required
