OVERVIEW:
The Design Architect is responsible for production of drawings, details, and material takeoffs for various projects. The Design Architect has direct accountability of providing Building Code Compliant and cost-effective Construction Drawings to the engineering department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

On time delivery of Code Compliant and cost-effective Construction Drawings through acute collaboration with Manufacturing, Estimating Design, Compliance and Standards, and Supply Chain.

Organizes arrangement designs with other design systems (Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) to ensure seamless integration to Approved for Construction drawing status.
References the product cost estimate during the drawing process and raises any significant anomalies with the appropriate internal stakeholders
Ensures compliance of building codes, standards, regulations and procedures.

Operates within ISO Quality system and company safety policy in all phases of assignments.
Views products in the manufacturing frequently with internal stakeholders to confirm accuracy of drawings, material take-off selections / quantities, and opportunities for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of residential, commercial, and/or modular design experience
- Architectural, Engineering, or Drafting diploma or equivalent experience required
- Must have proficient experience with CAD Systems; Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Must be able to submit a rendering sample from Revit
- Experience must include traditional and/or permanent modular design experience;
- State modular program experience preferred
- Must possess elite organizational and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
