Adecco is looking for a Manufacturing Designer at one of our prominent automotive clients in the Troy, Mi Area

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Discusses project with Supervisor and Manufacturing to review functions of machines and equipment.
Designs automation hardware circuits and put into Unigraphics on a daily basis.
Diagrams logic system for functions such as sequence and timing control.
Designs and drafts diagrams of cable connection for robots, robot end-of-arm tool, robot controller, and other machines.
Confers with Electricians and Toolmakers to resolve problems regarding building of controls systems.
Reviews schematics with customer’s representatives to answer questions during installation of robot systems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Prefer an Associate’s degree in design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or a related field, AND at least five (5) years of related experience. Requires at least five (5) years of experience managing multiple projects. Requires at least five (5) years of mechanical 3D solid modeling experience and proficiency in Unigraphics. Must have basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office.
