Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire Desktop Support – System Administrator job in Fort Collins, CO for our client a leading reputable non-profit partnered with our own CSU. The Desktop Support – Systems Administrator provides support for the information resources and systems to staff and other participants. This position will support the strategic direction of the organization by supporting the integration of information technology into administrative functions and works collaboratively with staff. Our client seeks a candidate preferably who has experience deploying and maintaining LAMP stacks and who preferably has a Linux background and experience with open source solutions.
Responsibilities for the Desktop Support – System Administrator Job in Fort Collins, CO include:

Provide first-line support to staff questions involving computers, phones, printers, network connectivity etc.
Provide first-line pre-trip IT support to program participants via phone and email
Provides standard Active Directory configuration and maintenance.
Create documentation for future reference, training and support activities
Maintain Ticketing application
Work with vendors to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
Assist in the evaluation, installation, and support of new software and technologies.



Qualifications:

Applicants should display excellent technical problem solving, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A solid understanding of Windows server/client operating systems, and end-user support in an Active Directory environment.
General understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
Experience working with PC hardware and components.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to provide written instructions to users, and maintain documentation library criteria.
