Digital Project Manager

Adecco Group has an immediate opening for a contract Digital Project Manager position in Cary NC 27513 with a National Investments/Financial Services client.

**Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / NO corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only and not require relocation assistance.

Position: Digital Project Manager
Pay Rate: $51.00 per hour / Adecco W2
Length: 6 month contract

Required experience
• 5 years related work experience in project management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, understands what it takes to deliver software with exposure to large-scale systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities
• Familiar with a variety of the IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Issue, risk and change management

HIGHLY Preferred experience and will be given first preference:
• PMP preferred
• Experience in investments, financial services industries
• Contact center experience
• Adept at working with distributed, global teams
• Agile/Lean familiarity or experience

Our client’s projects span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique implementation challenges we face daily. As a Project Manager you will have a grounded understanding of project and program management principles through direct project experience, preferably within a contact center environment or with CRM applications. You will be versed in risk management, escalating issues, anticipating project specific risks to ensure timely and on-budget implementations. You’re excellent at communicating to all levels and are comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing technical estimates with application developers. The Project Manager will play an integral role in the ongoing transformation of Our client’s Contact Center transformation.

Summary of responsibilities:
• Familiar with a variety of the IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Fluent in SDLC tasks and methodologies.
• Proven expertise in MS Office applications
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project funding (budget, actuals and forecasts).
• Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
• May lead and direct the work of others.
• Working closely with business and technical teams to develop and track release milestones and schedules.
• Builds relationships with business and technology executives and user/customer base.
• Identifies and coordinates heavy interdependencies to ensure timing and alignment of releases, hardware, and resources.
• Ensures communication, coordination of activities, and issue resolution amongst core team members, senior management and other stakeholders.
• Manages focused project recovery activities including quick situational analysis, needs assessment, and hands-on collaboration
• Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and partnership with a willingness to proactively coach, facilitate, share knowledge, and be the role model and advocate for the customer service organization.
