Adecco Creative is assisting our client, a well-known retailer, in their search for a Digital Project Manager. This is a full time freelance role, working up to 40 hours per week onsite in the client’s Minneapolis headquarters, and expected to last through November with the possibility of being extended.


The primary function of the Digital Project Manager is delivering a quality guest-facing presentation in the digital space that drives profitable online sales, generates omni-channel guest engagement and produces best-in-class brand experiences for merchandise categories. They will be responsible for managing the project scope, timelines and asset creation processes to ensure successful and timely execution of the work, as well as effectively troubleshoot and problem solve when necessary to keep work on track by using multiple systems to manage the workflow and publish the content on the site and app daily/weekly. They will also develop and optimize business processes as needed and be responsible for maintaining relationships with internal business partners and creative teams, as well as external agencies (as needed). 


  • Drives holistic project plans, including determining desktop and mobile scope and digital timelines for Marketing and Site Merchandising projects in partnership with internal teams - could include multiple categories. 
  • Manages the full execution of editorial content of the project with planners, designers, art directors, copywriters and front end developers. 
  • Manages overall category and project refresh workflow through multiple phases and gains approvals at each stage within an established timeline. 
  • Manages end to end photography process associated with content workflow - includes but is not limited to, coordination of samples, scheduling and facilitating sample pick up meetings and serving as the main business contact for creative partners. 
  • Understands business objectives and can translate into creative terms to inform page layout, design and build approach. 
  • Provides digital governance to ensure the brand is represented accurately and consistently per the core style guide standards within all editorial creative concepts. 
  • Manages the process for creating or updating brand style guides used to inform item-level photo approach. 
  • Ensures creative and guest experience excellence is achieved. 
  • Organizes and leads cross functional meetings as needed. 
  • Effectively removes roadblocks and deliver solutions to move the work forward. 
  • Proofs completed pages to ensure that pages are built accurately, represent the approved creative design/concepts and function properly. 
  • Accountable to ensure that the editorial content project launches flawlessly on site/mobile. 
  • Responsible for live site fixes as needed. 


  • 4-year college degree in Business and/or equivalent experience. 
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience. 
  • Highly organized and great attention to detail. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. 
  • A proven track record of consistent project execution. 
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects on different timelines simultaneously. 
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Initiative, self-motivation, and accountability. 
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment and manage ambiguity. 


  • Experience in Project Management, Publishing, eCommerce, Retail, Direct Marketing, Marketing Agency, Direct Marketing, Graphic Design, Front End Development preferred 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Understanding of interactive design and development tools, reporting and content management tools.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
