Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting candidates for a direct hire Maintenance Technician Job in Warren, MI for our growing manufacturer!
We seek candidates with five (5) or more years of experience in Maintenance. This position is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and modifying all equipment including current production equipment and future program equipment.

2nd & 3rd Shift positions available
up to 32 per hour + OT!!!!!!

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician Job in Warren, MI:



Comply with all Safety, Environmental and OSHA rules and regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance procedures on all equipment as assigned. Monitor facility work orders. Occasional rigging and overhead crane maintenance and repair. Perform inspections and work at high levels in and around the facility.
Ability to determine and implement time or cost savings improvements.
Perform basic tasks as required, to include but not limited to, requisitioning of materials, restocking of parts or supplies, filing of equipment manuals or literature or other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge of automated controls. Perform complex troubleshooting of mechanical components, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic circuits. Additionally, a Maintenance Technician will be able to troubleshoot and repair air compressors, dryers, chillers, and related process equipment that exists or may be purchased in the future.
Ability to wire and troubleshoot basic electrical control circuits
Perform any of the mechanical levels and all building repairs and/or modifications using all hand, power, and machining tools.
Ability to fabricate complex components and assemblies as well as perform equipment modifications on existing or new equipment utilizing above skills.
Maintenance to include parts disassembly, overhaul, and reassembly of complex components. Identify and replace defective parts or components on equipment.
Assist with training and coaching of other mechanics.
Keeps work area clean and orderly (5S)

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
5 years’ experience in related field
Journeyman Certification Preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Advanced mathematical concepts such as trigonometry, exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factory analysis.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
