The Direct Hire Recruiter is responsible for the full lifecycle of recruitment for our clients within Adecco Staffing USA. Focuses on meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations and ensures a positive and efficient experience for prospective candidates and hiring managers. Manages and establishes professional relationships through networking and sources, interviews and successfully matches candidates to fill external requisitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes job requirements and qualifies candidates by utilizing active and passive recruitment methods including, but not limited to cold calling, web search, job advertisements and social networking according to identified qualification standards.
  • Follow-up on all internal and external leads and referrals.
  • Prescreens, conducts reference checks and interviews candidates to ensure hiring managers needs and requirements are met; creates candidate profiles for consideration.
  • Enters and tracks all required candidate and requisition information in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); runs standard reports and leverages ATS to track candidate flow.
  • Maintains effective, ongoing relationships with candidates and clients throughout the full life-cycle of recruitment. Fields and resolves inquiries from candidates and hiring managers as required.
  • Prepares, debriefs and coaches candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process up to the extension and acceptance of offers.
  • Maintains a detailed schedule of daily recruiting activities and metrics as related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); prepares and delivers reports to management.
  • Assists with and provides feedback and recommendations on the selection of prehire assessment tools; establishes beneficial relationships with clients.
  • Stays abreast of leading industry, economic, local market, competitor trends and recruiting best practices and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of corporate recruiting experience; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, complex corporate, national or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) role, and experience recruiting professionals, is highly desirable.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive/confidential information. Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team.

  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills.
  • Ability to utilize market research tools and techniques.
  • Ability to identify existing and new trends as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles, best practices, and standards of the full life-cycle of recruiting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficient with electronic recruiting resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and job boards.
