So, you’re looking for a Training position in Robinson Township, PA? Good news! We’re now hiring a direct hire Training Specialist for a manufacturer in Robinson Township, PA.


Position Summary:  Primarily responsible for supporting the deployment of new manufacturing processes and minimizing the impact of process change disruption.  This includes but is not limited to, evaluating the current process state, knowledge-sharing on new processes, providing training for manufacturing associates, creating and updating process documentation, and providing progress, status and performance reports to leadership.  Ensures standard application of current processes and provides guidance and support for process changes and improvements. Actively engages with the local leadership team in operational planning and project implementation. 


Key Duties / Responsibilities:  


  • Delivers training to manufacturing associates to help ensure the effective deployment of new manufacturing equipment and processes and minimize disruption. 
  • Develops documentation and tools to support manufacturing process changes and       initiatives; keeps documentation up-to-date.
  • Administers the facility’s job skills training and certification program and related processes.
  • Assists in the development of training materials and training plans. 
  • Monitors and tracks compliance to standard procedures and processes; provides feedback and support to leadership and associates to ensure standard application of established processes and procedures.
  • Engages with Engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve opportunities for improvement. Jointly recommends process and procedural enhancements to improve efficiency, effectiveness and product quality.
  • Prepares and provides reports to leadership on job skills training and certification, status of process improvement initiatives, and other topics as needed.
  • Actively participates as a member of the local Leadership Team
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.  


Education & Knowledge: 


  • Bachelor’s degree, or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 4 years’ equivalent professional work experience in a relevant field required.
  • Basic knowledge of team-based work systems preferred
  • Advanced Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Product Suite required
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodology preferred.
