Adecco Executive Recruitment is currently on the hunt for a Director of Marketing for its client in Valencia, CA. You will be responsible for the performance of all marketing-related functions and teams including the development and implementation of marketing and branding strategies and initiatives in support of the overall achievement of business objectives. You will Oversee all commercial product development and portfolio management activities, lead the marketing department in developing and implementing programs, services, product/brand positioning, channel strategies, competitive selling strategies, pricing, advertising, and collateral. P&L responsibilities include department budget, influence over the top line sales, and department level influence for the overall profitability of the company.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Supports the strategy, planning and execution of all commercial activities working cross-functionally with the executive team including sales, operations, research/development, regulatory affairs, quality assurance and reimbursement to formulate, evaluate and execute strategies and tactics to drive profitability.
Evaluates new product plans, business ventures and acquisitions.
Leads and supervises all marketing activities including product management, channel management, marketing communications, creative services, tradeshows/exhibits and the corporate website.
Develops annual marketing plans and manages the overall marketing budget, continuously optimizing effectiveness and efficiency in line with the business goals and objectives.
Develops new programs and executes appropriate channel strategies to maximize opportunities within the targeted segments.
Understands the trends in the marketplace and provides competitive updates to help position our product marketing, market development and product offerings competitively.
Leads the development and executive of market/product segmentation strategies.
Leads marketing communications, advertising, PR and website initiatives.
Responsible for career development to marketing staff and provides direction; ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness of all projects.
Builds professional and technical knowledge by engaging with customers, attending scientific conferences, educational workshops, delivering presentations and training to field personnel and reviewing professional publications.
Develops relationships with key opinion leaders, sales leaders, and key patient advocates.
Travel 30-50%.
Able to perform other essential tasks assigned.



EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or applicable experience required, MBA or BS in Biomedical Engineering.

EXPERIENCE:


10-15 years marketing experience with demonstrated medical device industry experience. Strong sales/marketing/product management experience. Proven track record to deliver top line growth, strategic vision, planning and execution. Knowledge of and/or experience in international markets helpful. Experience in fast paced, high growth/high performance environment critical.
