Director of Operations

Our client is an industry leader in luxury foods. Due to growth, seeking a Director of Operations. Primary responsibilities include
- Oversee all operations in the "kitchen".
- Schedule, manage, mentor/train 200+ supervisors and employees
- Ensure kitchen adheres to GMP and USDA and FDA regulations
- Ensure kitchen is a safe working environment
- Provide various reports to senior management and executives

Position reports to President/Owner.

Ideal candidates will possess the following.
- Bachelor degree. Will consider Associates or certificate from Culinary schools
- 8+ years progressive experience in food manufacturing or large kitchen operations
- 5+ years as a Production Manager or Plant Manager
- Current knowledge of food trends
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, USDA, HAACP
- Understanding of OSHA
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English
