Dispatcher Office Support

DISPATCHER/OFFICE ASSISTANT/ CUSTOMER SERVICE/ ROUTING & SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS "FOLLOW UP ON LEGALIZATION AND SYSTEM WORK IN PROGRESS

 

 LOCATION: LONG ISLAND CITY, NY (walking distance to the 7 train)

THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM TO 4:30PM

Job Description: Job Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Scheduling and preparing four technicians in Metro & Long Island area
  • Follow up with customers, architects and Fire Department on legalization and summons
  • Reviewing work orders for additional service needed, as per technician’s notes
  • Updating customer file accurately when needed
  • After training period, ability to prepare proposals and quotes.
  • Work with principal of company on various tasks.
  • Maintain customer relations by resolving customer concerns and answering phones
  • Operating a high volume multi-line phone (1-4 lines)

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate in person, by email, and telephone
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Professional phone manner
  • Detail oriented and highly motivated
  • Excellent computer skills required (MS Office, Outlook and Excel)
  • Requires a demonstrated level of professionalism, customer focus and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new things quickly
  • 2 + years of experience in a service industry
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Non-smoker preferred
  • Not allergic to dog (occasionally Mark brings in his dog to office)
  • Salary based on experience
