Adecco is currently assisting a nationwide transportation company with their need to fill Dispatcher positions in Wichita, KS. This is a temporary, 3-month opportunity paying $12.00/hr.

The purpose of this position is to handle incoming calls from customers. This includes answering questions, listening and addressing any concerns the caller is having while maintaining excellent customer service.  Basic computer skills are required, including data entry and mapping skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Assist callers with questions or concerns
  • Use walkie talkie to communicate with drivers
  • Input data into the computer

  • Ability to deescalate problems as they arise
  • Ability to follow guidelines regarding the disclosing sensitive information

  • Ability to work in a chaotic environment at times
  • Knowledge of when to escalate complaints to a manager
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent


Other Information:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Shift hours vary between 6:00am to 6:00pm
  • $12.00/hr
