Document Control Coordinator

New

Pay rate: $16-18/hour

Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5:30pm temporary assignment, possibility of perm hire after 6-12 months

Adecco is assisting a global medical device manufacturer in their search for a Document Control Coordinator. Under close supervision, assists in the implementation and maintenance of controlled documentation systems and record retention including electronic records retention processes. Utilizes related documentation systems and assists with the creation, revision, printing, and distribution of controlled copies of electronic and written documents

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the creation of new procedures, work instructions, quality plans, and other documents using the relevant Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Prepares and reviews documentation which may include: good manufacturing practice (GMP); procedures manuals; quality control manuals; engineering documents; manufacturing documents; manufacturing instructions; safety documents; and change authorizations in accordance with company policy and relevant government regulations and requirements.
  • Assists with the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions and tracks document activity to ensure timeliness and process efficiency.
  • May ensure new documents and records are consistent with company procedures, reviewing all documentation for accuracy, completeness and consistency in content, format, files and approvals.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, maintenance, change and distribution of training requirements; procedures; work instructions; and process binders.
  • Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.

    Job Specifications

  • High School Diploma and 1 – 2 years of experience. Or Associates degree in related discipline.
  • Use computer with work processing and spread sheet software, printer, telephone and copy machine.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
