Documentation Specialist

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:                
Responsible for creation and maintenance of the documents for the company’s proprietary software; Streamline and/or Title Express. Responsible for storage, archive process, and release of documents. Maintain the integrity of underwriter, state, and custom forms. Acts as a liaison between customers, underwriters, and state specific contacts to resolve document discrepancies and updates.


  • Maintains the standard, state and custom set of documents for Streamline and/or Title Express.
  • Verify the most recent state and county forms from various websites and sources.
  • Provide the Support Desk with document updates, as needed.
  • Maintain historical changes of forms and or issues through Service First and Sales Logix (CRM) software.
  • Create, obtain approval from customers and maintain historical Statement of Work for custom form requests.
  • When applicable, submit billing for custom form requests to Accounting for further processing.
  • Gathers data and recommends solutions to customer issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve document issues as reported by customers, as assigned.
  • Performs additional duties as required by Management.


Must Have:


  • Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level
  • Intermediate experience with MS Word, including but not limited to knowledge of template setup, styles, fields, and if/then statements.
  • Good proofreading skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Able to work autonomously as well as with a team
  • Self-motivated; self-starter
  • Title and Escrow knowledge preferred
  • General knowledge of web applications preferred, training provided for company specific applications
  • Adobe Acrobat-preview print preferred
  • Streamline/Title Express and VBA experience a plus
